As most of our guests are traveling from out of town, we wanted to choose a venue that would be convenient for everyone! NOTE: Use the link below and book by May 20th, 2026 to receive a discounted rate!

Another option right in Downtown Pittsburgh is the Fairfield Inn, just a short walk across the bridge to our venue.

Right outside our venue sits the Monongahela Incline, which will take you up to Mount Washington to some of the best views that Pittsburgh has to offer! Tickets cost $2.50 one way or $3.50 round trip. The incline departs every 15 minutes and the last trip is at 12:45AM.

Directly next to the venue is the Gateway Clipper fleet, offering tours of Pittsburgh, dinner cruises, and more. Visit their website to see tour times and make sure to buy tickets in advance!

Right across the bridge to Downtown, at the confluence of Pittsburgh's three rivers, is Pittsburgh's Point State Park. There, guests can enjoy a historic park, museum, and grand fountain.

One of Pittsburgh's most popular tourist attractions. The Strip is a collection of shops, restaurants, and outdoor markets. If you're planning on visiting, we recommend going early and parking in one of the large outdoor lots.

Strip District

Pittsburgh's Three Rivers Heritage Trail is a collection of trails around the city, mostly located along the three rivers. You can access the trail directly outside the hotel and walk or bike along the river for miles. Felix recommends heading up the Monongahela, where you'll find some great restaurants, a rooftop bar, brewery, and Color Park.

Located in the neighborhood of Oakland is Phipps Conservatory, one of the best botanical gardens in the country. Guests can purchase tickets online and enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces.

Also located in Oakland is Pitt's beautiful campus, which is full of great parks, restaurants, and landmarks like the Cathedral of Learning and Soldiers &amp; Sailors Memorial Hall.

Located on Pitt's campus in Oakland (a short 15 minute drive from the venue) is Carnegie Museum of Art &amp; Natural History, one of the best museums in the city.

Brynn is Dana's longest & best friend and Maid of Honor. Dana found Brynn on the Duquesne Class of 2020 Facebook page and the rest is history. The two have traveled the world together (literally, they spent a week in France) and bonded over their nerdiness, Just Dance, and love of trashy reality TV shows. Brynn lives in Nashville, TN and is defending her PhD this year at Vanderbilt University.

Tim is Felix’s Best Man. The two met in middle school and quickly became friends, bonding over their shared sense of humor, love for adventure, and carefree spirit. No matter what situation he finds himself in, Tim always seems to fit right in and have fun - and makes sure Felix does too. Tim currently resides in West Chester, PA, where he works at a Registered Dietician Nutritionist.

Tim Baillie

Jessika is Felix's sister and Dana's Matron of Honor. Dana was very excited to meet Jessika for the first time and learn what it is like to have a sister. Dana admires Jessika for her strong-willed nature, ability to bake a mean sourdough loaf, and green thumb. Although they don't see each other as often as they'd like, when they do, they bond over bubble tea and 2010s rap bangers ("My Chick Bad"). She works as a speech-language pathologist and currently lives in Johnson City, TN with her husband, Kyle, and one-year-old daughter, Stella.

Jessika Kynett

Mike is one of Felix's groomsmen as well as his older brother. Felix first met Mike at a very young age (immediately after birth) and has looked up to him ever since - admiring his kindness, intelligence, and most importantly, great taste in video games. Fresh off a wedding of his own, Mike and his wife, Laura, recently bought their first home in Downingtown, PA, where he currently works as a Sales Manager for a medical equipment supply company.

Mike Hunter

Elsa is one of Dana's bridesmaids. The two (quickly) became friends after unknowingly using the same toothbrush for weeks when they first started rooming together their sophomore year at Duquesne. After that, their bond was sealed. Elsa and Dana's friendship grew stronger through their mutual love of Vine references, trivia, movies, and books. When Dana has the attention span, Elsa enjoys teaching her new board games. Elsa works as a school librarian and lives in Pittsburgh, PA.

Elsa Buehler

Jake is one of Felix's groomsmen and the younger brother of the bride. From the first time Dana took Felix to her hometown to meet her family, Jake has made him feel welcome, and Felix couldn't have asked for a better brother-in-law. Over the years, Jake and Felix have bonded over their love of music, memes, and all things Pittsburgh. Jake currently lives in Latrobe, PA, and when he’s not DJing at Live Casino, he’s busy recording music of his own.

Misty is one of Dana's bridesmaids. The two became roommates and friends when Misty transferred to Duquesne her junior year. Misty has a heart of gold and loves hosting grand holiday parties bringing all our friends together. After being in Misty's wedding in July 2024, Dana couldn't be happier that Misty is by her side for the big day. Misty (fittingly) works as a corporate events planner and lives with her husband, Zack, in their new home in Canonsburg, PA.

Nigel is one of Felix’s groomsmen. The two met in middle school when Nigel, the new kid at school, walked up to Felix and decided he was a reasonable choice to be his first friend. While Felix still has questions about that decision, nevertheless, he's grateful. Since then, whether they're tagging along on each others' family trips or competing in sports together, the two always have a good time. Nigel lives in King of Prussia, where he works as a scientist for a pharmaceutical company.
