When should I RSVP by?

What is the timeline for the day?
The full timeline can be found on the homepage of the website. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM and is followed by cocktail hour from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Dinner will be served around 6:00 PM, followed by our first dances, cake cutting, and more, with the reception kicking off shortly after. The reception will officially end at 11:00 PM.
Are there any events planned for the day before?
The night before the wedding, the bride, groom, their parents, and wedding parties will be attending an intimate wedding rehearsal. Afterwards, we invite all guests to join us at Burgher's Brewing at the Highline for welcome food and drinks from 6-9pm. It's about a 15 minute walk from the Sheraton; they have a large free parking lot out front for folks who are driving in.
What time should guests arrive for the ceremony?
We recommend arriving by 4:00 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please allow extra time for parking and getting seated so we can start right on schedule.
What's the dress code?
The dress code is semi-formal attire. Guests are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses, midi-length dresses, or dressy jumpsuits, as well as suits or dress shirts with slacks (tie optional). We kindly ask that guests avoid jeans, sneakers, and overly casual attire.
What are the accomodations?
For guests' convenience, the venue will offer accommodations on-site. For more information, as well as other options for your stay, please visit the "Accommodations" tab of the site.
Is there a room block?
A discounted room block has been reserved. You can book online by visiting the link in the "Accommodations" tab or over the phone by mentioning the Dryzal-Strater Wedding when booking.
When do I need to book my hotel room by?
If you are joining us at the Sheraton, make sure to reserve your room before May 20th to lock in our discounted room rate.
When is check-in and check-out time for the hotel?
Check-in is Friday, June 19th at 4:00 PM and check-out is Sunday, June 21st at 11:00 AM through our room block (but guests can request an early check-in/late check-out).
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your invitation. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be indicated on your invitation and when you RSVP through our website. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together. If you feel we missed someone on your invitation, please reach out to us directly.
How do we get to the reception from the ceremony?
Both the ceremony and reception will be held in the Reflections Room at the Sheraton.
Where should we park?
There is a covered parking garage directly next to the venue. Parking is $16 for a half-day and $25 for a full day.
Where is the closest airport?
The closest airport to the venue is the Pittsburgh International Airport, located about 20 miles west of the city. It's roughly a 30 minute drive (depending on traffic).
Is the venue indoors or outdoors?
All events will be held in an indoor ballroom in the Sheraton. Depending on the weather, some events may extend outdoors on the hotel's patio.
Can we take photos during the ceremony?
We kindly request that guests do not use their cell phones or cameras during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer on site who is in charge of capturing our big day. Thank you for your understanding!
Will dinner be plated or buffet-style?
Before the reception, there will be a three course plated dinner, which includes a salad, appetizer, entree, and sides. Guests are invited to select an entree in the RSVP form; the choices are chicken, beef, fish, or a vegan/vegetarian option.
Are vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options available?
We will be offering a vegan/vegetarian option as an entree. For guests with additional dietary restrictions, the venue will try to accommodate you in any way they can; all they ask is that you provide a notice in advance so they can prepare accordingly.
Will there be an open bar?
There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour and reception, featuring a selection of wines, spirits, and beer.
What entertainment will be at the reception?
We have booked Radio Tokyo to perform at the reception. They are a cover band specializing in 90s, 2000s, and 2010s pop, hip-hop, and rock. Get ready to party!
What is there to do after the reception?
The hotel has a restaurant in the lobby that will be serving drinks and food until 11pm. Additionally, there are two bars within walking distance: Homerun Harry's (large bar and restaurant featuring games) and The Finch (upscale rooftop bar with great views of the city).
Will there be an after-party?
While there will not be an official after-party, guests are welcome to try out one of the local bars in Station Square or venture out into the city to keep the party going.
Is there a wedding registry?
We do have a wedding registry, located under the "Wedding Registry" tab of the website. Guests are not required to give a gift, but we deeply appreciate any generosity if you choose to do so!
