When should I RSVP by?

Are there any events planned for the day before?

We will be hosting a welcome party on Friday 6/19 from 6-9pm at Burgher’s Brewing South Side (formerly Sly Fox). All guests are welcome. It’s about a 15 minute walk from the Sheraton; there’s also a large covered garage attached to the building for guests who are driving over. We will be providing mini smash burgers and other finger food and guests are welcome to purchase their own drinks at the bar.

What is the timeline for Saturday?

The full timeline can be found on the homepage. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, followed by cocktail hour from 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM. Dinner will be served around 6:00 PM, followed by the reception, which officially ends at 11:00 PM.

Where should we park?

The Sheraton has an attached parking lot for guests next to the hotel. There is also a large indoor parking garage across the street. Parking is $20 for a half day and $34 for a full 24 hours.

What's the dress code?

The dress code for the ceremony and reception is semi-formal attire. Guests are encouraged to wear cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits, as well as suits or dress shirts with slacks (tie optional). We kindly ask that guests avoid jeans, sneakers, and overly casual attire. There is no dress code for the welcome party.

What time should guests arrive for the ceremony on Saturday?

We recommend arriving to the lobby by 4:00 PM, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Please allow extra time for parking and getting seated so we can start right on schedule.

How do we get to the ceremony and reception?

Both the ceremony and reception will be held in the Reflections Room at the Sheraton. The ballrooms are located on the main floor beside the restaurant.

When do I need to book my hotel room by?

If you are joining us at the Sheraton, make sure to reserve your room before May 20th to lock in our discounted room rate.

When is check-in and check-out time for the hotel?

Check-in at the Sheraton is 4:00 PM and check-out is at 11:00 AM. Guest may call or use the app to request early check-in and late check-out.

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate the guests formally listed on your invitation. If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be indicated on your invitation and when you RSVP through our website. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate together. If you feel we missed someone on your invitation, please reach out to us directly.

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?

All events will be held indoors at the Sheraton. There is a small balcony off the ballroom for guests to use (weather permitting).

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

We kindly request that guests do not use their cell phones or cameras during the ceremony. We will have a professional photographer on site who is in charge of capturing our big day. Thank you for your understanding!

Will dinner be plated or buffet-style?

Before the reception, there will be a three course plated dinner, which includes a salad, appetizer, entree, and sides. Guests are invited to select an entree in the RSVP form; the choices are chicken, beef, fish, or a vegan/vegetarian option.

Are vegetarian/vegan/gluten-free options available?

We will be offering a vegan/vegetarian option as an entree. For guests with additional dietary restrictions, the venue will try to accommodate you in any way they can; all they ask is that you provide a notice in advance so they can prepare accordingly.

Will there be an open bar?

There will be an open bar for guests to enjoy during cocktail hour and reception, featuring a selection of wines, spirits, and beer. We will also have a dedicated martini bar featuring the bridge and groom’s signature drink.

What entertainment will be at the reception?

We have booked Radio Tokyo to perform at the reception. They are a cover band specializing in 90s, 2000s, and 2010s pop, hip-hop, and rock. Get ready to party!

What is there to do after the reception?

For guests who want to keep the party going, we recommend going to Homerun Harry’s, which is a short walk from the hotel (although Dana and Felix can’t guarantee they’ll make it!)

Is there a wedding registry?

Our registry is located on the website under the "Wedding Registry" tab. A cash fund is also available. While guests are not required to give a gift, we deeply appreciate any generosity if you choose to do so!
